In fake social media followers case, Mumbai police may take Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone’s statement.
There are numerous examinations done by various well known organisations that found out that these two actresses are in the list of top 10 celebrities who have fake followers.
As per the cops, these studies will become the base to question the actress.
A man, created a fake profile of Bollywood playback singer Bhoomi Trivedi was arrested by the Mumbai police. The man claimed that he manages her social media accounts.
The man even contacted some Bollywood members claiming he can increase their social media followers the way he increased her followers. One of the choreographers even fell for it and lost his money in the trap. Realising the mistake he contacted Bhoomi which made the singer realise about the fake profile. Following this she filed a complaint with the Mumbai police.
After busting the accused Mumbai police came to know that this is a huge scam, many people may be involved in this.
Now an SIT headed by DCP Nandkumar Thakur has been formed to solve the case.
The invitation carried out some shocking truths. According to the reports there are about 100 companies who sell fake social media followers. SIT has now identified 68 of them who not only sell fake followers but also fake social media activities like retweets, likes, view, subscriptions, comments etc.
20 statements have been recorded yet which include Bollywood personalities.
