As some of the shoots are starting slowly with the follow up of the guidelines, Sanjay Gupta’s Mumbai Saga shoot for Hyderabad was going to start too. They received a go-ahead from the Telangana government and following the guidelines the maker was all set with his 30 crew members including John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi for the 14 days shoot schedule. However, the shoot has been cancelled for now as the cases for Coronavirus increased.
Sanjay Gulta revealed that the country is facing the increase of 30k cases and the WHO has even claimed that the virus is now spreading airborne and this would be a big risk for the shoot. After speaking with the leading actors and producers, the Hyderabad shoot was then called off. The team might shoot in Mumbai for now.
The director also revealed that Emraan Hashmi and John Abraham can’t put anyone’s life at risk and hence the shoot came to halt. Right now, they are trying to procure permission to shoot at Filmcity, Mehboob Studios and Essel.
Apart from John and Emraan, the film also stars Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Jackie Shroff, Rohit Roy, and Gulshan Grover.
Mumbai Saga is a Gulshan Kumar presentation, and is backed by T-Series and White Feather Films production. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sangiita Ahir and Anuradha Gupta
