Munjya continues to maintain its strong hold at the box office, and the makers are determined to ensure that no other new release diminishes its success.
With Kartik Aaryan‘s Chandu Champion set to hit theatres on June 14 with a special offer, the makers of Munjya are taking proactive steps to maintain their film’s momentum.
Munjya Makers’ Double Treat This Friday
To mitigate any significant impact on their box office collection due to the new release, the makers of Munjya have announced a discounted ticket rate of Rs 150 for Friday, June 14. Adding to the excitement, the teaser of Stree 2 is set to make its debut in theatres screening Munjya.

Munjya’s Box Office Collection So Far
Munjya made a fantastic start at the box office from day one. Despite a short promotional window and a new star cast, the film garnered a healthy total on the first day. It collected 0.50 crore nett on Thursday night and a very good 4.21 crore nett on day one, including paid previews.
On the second day, the film witnessed a significant jump of 70-75%, reflecting the audience’s acceptance. It crossed 7.40 crore nett on the second day and added 8.43 crore nett on the third day, despite the India – Pakistan match affecting shows from the evening onwards.
The film held solid on Monday, with a collection of 4.11 crore nett, which was less than a 5% drop from day one. It showed growth on Tuesday, collecting 4.21 crore nett, maintaining an exceptional trend. On Wednesday, it added a strong 4.11 crore nett, bringing the 6-day total to 32.47 crore nett.

About Munjya
Munjya stars Sharvari and Abhay Verma in the lead roles. Sharvari‘s glamorous avatar in the song ‘Taras’ and during the film’s promotions has garnered attention. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Munjya is backed by Dinesh Vijan‘s Maddock Films.
The censor process of Munjya was completed on Tuesday, June 4. The Central Board of Film Certificate (CBFC) awarded the film a U/A certificate. Interestingly, the CBFC’s Examining Committee did not request a single cut, whether audio or visual. The length of the film, as mentioned on the censor certificate, is 123 minutes, that is, 2 hours and 3 minutes.
