Director Nag Ashwin, who will who will be directing a sci-fi magnum-opus project with Deepika Padukone, Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan, confirmed that the film’s pre-production has already begun.
Talking to a portal, Ashwin said, “I have had my round of meetings with all three of them separately. Pre-production has been going on for long. We will begin shooting around June-July.”
Spanish cinematographer Dani Sanchez-Lopez and composer Mickey J Meyer will also work on the film. The trio had previously worked together in the 2018 film Mahanathi, starring Keerthy Suresh, Dulquer Salmaan, and Vijay Devarakonda. Director Ashwin was recently part of anthology drama Pitta Kathalu, which means short stories in Telugu.
In a previous interview with a source, Ashwin said that getting Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Prabhas is a dream come true. He said, “It is definitely a dream combination. I like the cast but it is about the story. At the end of the day, these three people doing these three roles in the movie is exciting for me than just the actors. My movie will shatter all records of imagination.”
Meanwhile, the film is helmed by the South Indian production house Vyjayanthi Movies, who had backed projects such as Mahanati, Agni Parvatam and Indra.
