Nawazuddin Siddiqui is in news from the last new days for multiple reasons. First, he got trolled for going to his hometown to celebrate Eid with his family during the lockdown, however, he posted on social media and clarified about his mother’s health. Later the news of his wife seeking divorce came out and multiple questions started floating with it. But there are some sweet coating over this bitter headlines.
According to the information Raat Akeli Hai, which he had wrapped up in April 2019, will not get an OTT released on Netflix soon. As per the reports debutant director, Honey Trehan wants his film to go on OTT as he can’t further wait for theaters to reopen.
Starring Radhika Apte opposite Nawaz the backdrop of the film is based in rural India and also features Nawaz’s Haraamkhor co-star Shweta Tripathi.
Radhika and Nawaz have also worked together in Badlapur and Manjhi – The Mountain Man.
This will be the second film of Nawaz which is getting OTT release due to COVID-19. Pushpendra Nath Mishra’s Ghoomketu is also set to release on ZEE5 on Friday, May 22.
