
Covid- 19 is the most serious issue the world is facing right now. But as usual in India everything takes the shape of communal debate especially after the Tablighi jamaat case. Now actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s new short film comes at the perfect time.
The film titled Bebaak shows an outburst of a common man bearing the brunt of communal religious heads and the hardliner thoughts of the conservative.
Written and directed by Shazia Iqbal, the film also features Saba Hashmi in the lead role of Fatin.
The story revolves around a middle class family of three sisters and a brother living with their parents. The story is about fundamental and ethical rights of a women especially a Muslim women.
Produced by Anurag Kashyap Bebaak premiered at Indian Film Festival Of Los Angeles IFFLA last year.
