Veteran actress Neena Gupta and Bollywood star Rakul Preet Singh are all set to share screen space for the second time in an upcoming comedy film. The two were last seen in Arjun Kapoor Starrer Sardar ka Grandson.
Neena Gupta and Rakul Preet Singh’s film to go on floors on Nov 4
As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Neena Gupta and Rakul Preet Singh to star together in an upcoming comedy movie, which is yet untitled. The two actresses will start shooting the film from November 4 in Alibaug.

This untitled project will be directed by debutant Ashish R Shukla. He is known the most for helming the acclaimed and appreciated web shows Candy for Voot Select and Undekhi for Sony LIV. His other notable work includes the quirky and satirical web movie Bohut Hua Sammaan, which starred Sanjay Mishra and Raghav Juyal, among others.

Neena Gupta was last seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s recently released web series Charlie Chopra & The Mystery Of Solang Valley. She’s known for her roles in much acclaimed and loved web series, Panchayat and films like Veere Di Wedding, Mulk and Badhaai Ho since her comeback in Bollywood in 2018.
Rakul Preet Singh’s last project was the web movie I Love You. This film is expected to release in 2024.
