Junaid Khan To Make Debut In Maharaj
“Maharaj” is a biopic based on the life of a Maharaja who gave up his throne to fight for the rights of farmers in his kingdom. The film will mark the debut of Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan in Bollywood. The film will be directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, who has previously directed films like “Hichki” and “We Are Family”. It also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari & Shalini Pandey.
The film is based on the 1862 Maharaj Libel Case, where a regular man, a journalist by profession, takes on a powerful Maharaja. The story is set in the 1800s and is inspired by true events. The film is reportedly a David vs Goliath story, with Junaid Khan playing the lead role.
