Do you know that Akshay Kumar’s 2000 film Dhadkan has been dubbed in English? A Twitter user tweeted a moment from the English-dubbed version of the film, and it quickly went viral on social media as netizens struggled to keep their laughing in check after watching it.

Characters in the sequence, which also featured Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty, greeted each other as mother, daughter-in-law, and brother instead of using phrases like maa or bahu. The English translations of Hindi dialogues are hilarious.

For example, Akshay’s character Ram says in the scene, “I just don’t love you all. I have worshipped all of you. Mother’s orders are as good as God’s orders for me.”

A Twitter user named Richa posted the short clip and captioned the video, “So apparently there is an English-dubbed version of Dhadkan and I am deceased.”
