Brahmastra, a film starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor that has been in the works for several years, is getting closer to a theatrical release. The fantasy trilogy, which is divided into three parts, will be released in five languages. The film’s release date will be announced soon by the makers. Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy, and Dimple Kapadia also star in Brahmastra. Although Alia had stated that the motion poster would be unveiled on December 15, the makers chose to reveal a teaser of the poster first. Yes, you read that correctly.
Big B shared a poster featuring Ranbir Kapoor covered with fire all over. Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “Our journey of sharing Brahmāstra with the world is finally beginning! Love .. Light .. Fire .. Brahmāstra Motion Poster out tomorrow.” It has Amitabh Bachchan’s heavy baritone introducing Ranbir’s as Shiva from the film. He says, ““Dharti ka kann kann kaap uthega jab iss yudh ka shanknath bajega. Anth ka yeh aarambh hai, jaag raha hai yeh Brahmastra hai (Every bit of Earth will shake when war will be declared. It is the beginning of an end. The supernatural weapons is awakening).”

People questioned why a teaser for the motion poster was shared when they weren’t impressed with it. They also mocked the filmmakers for the teaser’s lacklustre visual effects. One of the Twitter users wrote, “The film will bomb! It has all the ingredients of a flop. Overhyped and an off-screen couple with about as much chemistry as chalk and cheese.” Another wrote, “Such long wait for such shit VFX… expected a lot, disappointed.”
