Netizens trend #BoycottSalmanKhan on Twitter as actor completed his 33 years in Bollywood

While many have expressed their congratulations, a portion of the internet and late Sushant Singh Rajput's supporters have demanded that the celebrity be boycotted.

Salman Khan, actor, producer, host, painter, and most notably, the “Bhaijaan of Bollywood,” celebrated his 33rd year in the industry. With his affable and seamless onscreen character, he managed to rule millions of hearts over the course of his three-decade career.

Salman Khan first appeared on screen in the 1988 film Biwi Ho To Aisi, in which he played a supporting role. He went on to star in Sooraj R. Barjatya’s romantic family drama Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), which went on to become one of India’s highest-grossing films at the time.

Salman’s fans on social media recalled on the actor’s illustrious career as he celebrated 33 years in Bollywood. Pictures and videos from Salman’s movie have started circulating on the internet. While many have expressed their congratulations, a portion of the internet and late Sushant Singh Rajput’s supporters have demanded that the celebrity be boycotted, alleging that he was one of the reasons for Sushant’s demise and that they will never forget.

In the meantime, Salman Khan’s most recent film was Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, which was released on Eid in May. In his kitty, he has Antim and Tiger 3. Salman will also make a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s highly anticipated next film Pathan, which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
