Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani are doing everything they can to promote their next film ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo.’ They recently won people’s hearts by promoting their film by taking a metro. Kiara and Varun were seen going by Mumbai metro with Anil Kapoor to avoid traffic and save time during the frantic promotions.
The duo was also seen in a video eating Vada Pao inside the metro, embracing their inner Mumbaikar! Varun seemed to like his brief trip on the metro so much that he went on to say that taking the metro is the best way to save time during rush hour! They were, however, viciously mocked on social media after a video of them consuming food in the subway went viral. Netizens were outraged by their actions and demanded that Varun and Kiara be fined.
A user wrote, “Eating is not allowed in Mumbai Metro.” Another added, “Will some one get up and notice.” A third comment read, “Metro me khaana varjit h ,ab aapka yahi video viral ho jayega eating in metro.”
‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ is set to hit the theatres on June 24.
