Twitter users on Monday trends a hashtag urging people to uninstall Disney + Hotstar. Well this is because the streaming platform is all set to release director Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2.
Sadak 2 is Mahesh Bhatt’s comeback film after around two decades. The film has been getting a huge backlash ever since the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Sushant’s sucide has raised nepotism in Bollywood debate. The film stars Mahesh Bhatt’s daughters Alia Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapur.
All the actors have been heavily trolled on the internet since the film was announced.
Netizens trends #UninstallHotstar on Twitter and urged people to boycott the film.
Some people also question Mahesh Bhatt’s alleged closeness with the late Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend, actress Rhea Chakraborty. She is currently accused of abetment to suicide among other charges in an FIR filed by Sushant’s father.
