Directed by Anil Sharma, the film also starred Ameesha Patel and Amrish Puri and followed a cross-nation love story between Tara Singh and Sakina during the 1947 partition. Now, the makers are coming up with its sequel after 22 years, and it’s titled Gadar 2. Ahead of the release, the team of Gadar 2 has been promoting it everywhere.

So far, a teaser and two songs have been released that are creating a lot of strong buzz on the internet. Now, a new motion poster has been released that features Sunny Deol and his on-screen son Utkarsh Sharma running for their lives. The poster’s tagline reads “A father’s love knows no boundaries” and it shows both Sunny and Utkarsh, in a rugged look, running while several bullets are fired at them. Amid the firing and explosions, the on-screen father-son duo is holding hands and Sunny can be seen saying ‘Hindustan Zindabad’.

The video is captioned, “Apne desh aur parivaar ki raksha ke liye, har chunauti ka samna karne ke liye taiyaar hai Tara Singh!” (Tara Singh is ready to face any challenge to protect his country and family.”)
