The journey of No Entry 2 seems to have hit another roadblock. After the recent news of Diljit Dosanjh leaving the project, the latest reports confirm that Varun Dhawan has also decided to step away from the comedy flick. This leaves the film with a major casting challenge, as the makers now have to find two new leads to join Arjun Kapoor, who is still a part of the film.
The original casting of Varun, Arjun, and Diljit had created a huge buzz among fans, especially with the news that all three would be playing triple roles. However, with two of the three main stars now out of the picture, the team is back to the drawing board.
Why Did Varun Dhawan Exit The Film?
According to sources close to the production, Varun Dhawan was very excited to be a part of No Entry 2. The problem arose due to scheduling conflicts. After Diljit Dosanjh’s exit, the film’s dates were changed, which made things complicated for Varun. His dates are now fully committed to his other big project, Bhediya 2.
It seems Varun will be busy with the Amar Kaushik-directed horror-comedy until mid-2026. This clash in schedules unfortunately made it impossible for him to continue with the Anees Bazmee-directed No Entry 2.
What’s Next For The Makers?
With both Varun and Diljit gone, producer Boney Kapoor and director Anees Bazmee are now on the lookout for two new actors who can step into these roles and create the perfect “bromance” with Arjun Kapoor. A source confirmed that the team is currently “figuring out the new combinations” to get the project back on track.
Fans of the original No Entry are eagerly waiting to see who will finally join the cast. The pressure is on the makers to find the right actors who can match the energy and comedy of the much-loved franchise. For now, Arjun Kapoor remains the only confirmed lead, and the hunt for his co-stars is officially on.
