He plans to complete shooting by June 2025. The sequel will be a Zee Studios – Bayview production.”

The buzz around the sequel is palpable. The trio is excited about the script and has given their nod to the story.”

The anticipation for No Entry 2 is huge, and the source added, “The script is hilarious and has got everyone excited. The sequel will hit theatres in December 2024 and is set for a big theatrical release in 2025, which marks 20 years since the first instalment.”

Feud Between Boney Kapoor & Anil Kapoor Over Fresh Casting

But not all the news about the sequel is good news. There are reports of tension between Anil Kapoor and his elder brother, producer Boney Kapoor, over casting decisions.

The original film No Entry starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu and Celina Jaitley. Anil Kapoor, who was instrumental in the success of the original film, expressed his desire to star in the sequel. Unfortunately, there was “no room” for him in the new cast.

Boney Kapoor explained the situation in an interview with Zoom: “Before I could tell my brother Anil about the No Entry sequel and the actors involved, he got angry as the news had already leaked out. It was unfortunate that it was leaked. I know he wanted to be in the No Entry sequel, but there was no room for it. I wanted to explain why I was doing what I was doing.”

According to reports, Anil Kapoor has been upset with his brother ever since the casting news broke. The new leads Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor are expected to bring a breath of fresh air to the popular franchise, but the shadow of the casting controversy looms large.
