One of the most eagerly anticipated comedy sequels from Bollywood is No Entry 2. Following the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, director Anees Bazmee rushed right into writing a solid narrative for the movie and intended to include both new characters and those performed by Salman, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan. Salman Khan, who played Prem in the first part, reportedly postponed the No Entry 2 sequel in favour of No Entry Mein Entry. According to reports, the actor became agitated since there were so many issues throughout the film’s production.
According to the E Times story, everything regarding No Entry Mein Entry was going well until Salman Khan revealed that he was in charge of the entire film’s development. Naturally, the producer Boney Kapoor was shocked, the source said “That came as a surprise because Boney has had an entire production set-up for several years.”
“Salman had his heart set on No Entry 2 and wanted to make it. He had himself sat on the script with Anees Bazmee and felt, it was amongst the funniest scripts he read in the last decade. The first part was stuck in multiple legal tangles due to Sahara One Motion Pictures shutting its shop. Salman initially thought it would be easy for him to resolve the conflict, but when he dug deep into the matter, the maze was a lot more complicated.” according to a report from Bollywood hungama!
Salman Khan even claimed ownership of the negative and intellectual property rights for No Entry Mein Entry. The actor also demanded digital and satellite rights to the movie, as if that weren’t enough. Boney Kapoor was undoubtedly irritated by these requests, and eventually Salman departed the project.
Salman Khan has an intriguing slate of upcoming movies, which is good news for his career. He is now filming Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, while Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger 3 is his upcoming project.
