In a recent media interaction, the filmmaker revealed that he was not happy with the script. He also said that there are no plans for the revival of the project either. However, he is hopeful that if the script gets altered then he might revive Crack.
Back in 2016 Akshay declare a film with Neeraj. He took his social media to announce the news he wrote, “Friends, I’m happy to share with you that after Special 26 and Baby, in 2017, I’m collaborating with Neeraj Pandey once again!” The actor even posted the title logo of the film stating it will release on Independence Day in 2017.
There was buzz that the two are not sharing good terms. However, the filmmakers have rubbished the news and also said that Akshay has been busy with his projects and he has moved on with Ajay Devgn starrer Chanakya.
He also stated that reunion is a great responsibility for both of them and that thay are looking for a good script.
Recently, Neeraj Pandey helmed a web series called Special Ops which was also managed to get a lot of appreciation.
