No Vidya Balan as Monjulika in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2? Read out to know more

According to the latest report, a media house had confirmed that Vidya Balan will be seen as Monjulika in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. A trade source commented on the development and said, “Their (Vidya and Anees) equation goes back to 2011, when Vidya made a cameo appearance in Anees’s film Thank You. She made the character of Monjulika, ghost of a royal dancer, memorable. [It is not clear if] Vidya will be seen dancing to Aami je tomar again or appear after the climax.”

But the makers have cleared the confusion by releasing an official statement. The makers issued a statement in the matter. It read, “The recent rumours of Vidya Balan being part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 are untrue. The lead star cast of the film include Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu.”

To the unversed, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is an upcoming horror comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar. It is a standalone sequel to Priyadarshan’s 2007 iconic horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa.
