Karan Johar has graciously given up the title Dragon for an upcoming Telugu flick directed by Prashanth Neel, starring Jr. NTR.
A source close to the production spilled the beans to Pinkvilla, saying, “It only took a quick chat with Karan for him to let go of the title for Neel and NTR.”
Dragon Name Was Previously Associated With Brahmastra – Here’s How!
Initially, Dragon was on the cards for Johar’s fantasy extravaganza, Brahmastra, before it underwent a name change. Despite the title being worth a pretty penny, Johar’s decision came without any financial strings attached.
The yet-to-be-titled project, currently dubbed NTR 31, marks the first-ever collaboration between Jr. NTR and Prashanth Neel.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film has tongues wagging in the Telugu film scene. Final touches are being put on shooting schedules, with Neel tied up directing Salaar 2, starring Prabhas.
Brahmastra, initially tagged as Dragon back in 2014, underwent a makeover to better suit its storyline, opting for a more grounded name.
Jr NTR’s upcoming venture with Prashanth Neel is all set to be his 31st outing, stirring up quite the buzz among fans.
