Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha has shown versatility in her performances, from her roles in Dream Girl, Chhalaang to Ajeeb Daastaans.
It was reported few months back that Nushrratt Bharuccha had signed her next film, a quirky comedy titled as Janhit Mein Jaari. She’s all set to star along with, in this Omung Kumar’s upcoming directorial film. The film has been written by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the director of Dream Girl and this is the second time he will be teaming up with the actress.
Now, we have learnt that she will be essaying an unconventional and tabboo-breaking role of sales and promotions executive at a condom manufacturing company.
“In the film, Nushrratt hops between selling condoms at medical stores and also runs promotions in different areas of the locality. The film also focuses on the repercussions she faces in her personal life due to her profession, which is rare for a woman.” Raaj was quoted saying, who has also turned producer with this film.
Speaking further filmmaker added that he discussed the story when they were shooting in Mathura for Dream Girl. The actress was excited after learning about the character of the film and looked forward to essay the role.
Janhit Mein Jaari was slated to go on floors from April 25 this year but due to the ongoing pandemic situation, the makers postponed the shoot of the film. Now they’re looking to start the shoot in August. Raaj Shaandilyaa says, “We are planning to shoot in Chanderi and Bhopal. For her part, Nushrratt will also learn the nuances of the local language.”
The makers had made an official announcement with a teaser poster in November 2020.

Apart from Nushrratt, the film also stars Ravi Kishan and Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles.
Meanwhile, Rakul Preet Singh will also be seen playing a similar role, she is playing a condom tester in her upcoming film by RSVP. Reportedly, the film has been titled Chhatriwaali.
