When Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar comes together for a film, they always make sure to make audiences laugh with their witty performances.

After giving us comedies like Hera Pheri, Phir Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Welcome and Bhool Bhulaiyaa came Oh My God, which became the talk of the town. With outstanding performances, the film also gave a strong message to the audience.

Now there are reports that the duo of Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar is coming back together for the part two of this social comedy.

The second part of Oh My God will be produced by Akshay Kumar and Ashwin Varde.

A source revealed, “Akshay, Paresh, Ashwin and the entire gang have been keen to make Oh My God 2 for the longest time and have been brain storming on different ideas to come up with a story that’s better than the first part. And after several years of research and brainstorming, they have finally locked a script that does justice to the legacy of first part.”

“Even as he was shooting for Atrangi Re, he was in constant touch with Ashwin over the script of Oh My God and in-fact the two even met on the set in Delhi to discuss on the pre-production process, other members of the cast and the way forward. The script is locked, and the film is ready to go on the floors as early as summer 2021,” the source added.

Umesh Shukla, who directed the first part of the film won’t be directing this one. It is been said that the shoot of the film will take place during summer and Akshay will once again don the role of God.

We are all waiting for the official announcement of the same.
