Adipurush is one of the most anticipated films in India. The film which is settled to release next year stars Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan in the lead.
Since the film is huge in terms of budget and star cast, director Om Raut wants to complete the film within the deadline. Now according to the reports, the director moved the entire unit to the south to complete the film.
The makers were shooting the film in Maharashtra till the Government announced the shooting ban in the state. Observing that the COVID cases are rising day by day and the restriction may not be lifted any time soon. The makers moved to Hyderabad to complete the film.
A source was quoted as saying, “With 60 days of shoot behind them, the team has about 90 more days of work remaining. Om, with his producers, has zeroed in on a Hyderabad studio where he can shoot in adherence to safety protocols. Most portions will be shot indoors as the movie, in keeping with the director’s filmmaking style, is VFX-heavy.”
Now Adipurush team is expecting to start the shooting by 15th May in Hyderabad.
The film also stars Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh in key roles. It is slated to release on 11th August 2022.
Meanwhile, T Series’ head, Bhushan Kumar in a recent interview with a daily Hungama said, “Om Raut is highly talented. He has shown us his talent in Tanhaji. Now he has gone way ahead of that in terms of VFX and everything else. The story is iconic and you cannot compare it with any other.”
Om Raut’s Adipurush is one of the most awaited films of the decade.
