It appears that moviegoers are eagerly anticipating the release of Om Raut’s Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush. When the film was announced last year this month, with confirmation that Prabhas would play Lord Rama, the producers stated that the film would be released on August 11, 2022. Seeing as how there’s exactly a year to go for the release date, excited fans take to social media to trend the hashtag – #Adipurush.
Prabhas’ other films have been delayed owing to the pandemic, thus their fears are justified. Radhe Shyam, starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde, has been rescheduled several times, the most recent being January 14, 2022. Besides this project, the actor has begun filming for Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, in which he will be joined by Shruti Haasan. Nag Ashwin is also working on a film with Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone.

Adipurush is being shot on a large scale in both Telugu and Hindi. The film’s production began in January, and it is unclear when it will be completed. Kriti Sanon will play Sita, Saif Ali Khan will play Lankesh, Sunny Singh will play Lakshmana, and Devdatta Nage will play Hanuman in the film. Adipurush, a Ramayana-inspired film, will also be released in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
