Shah Rukh Khan’s fans are dying to see the superstars on the big screen. According to the information SRK is quite conscious about his next project after the failure for his last few projects. As per the information he has rigorously read over 50 scripts from which showed interest in over 20 scripts. However he finally selected four films.
The superstar will be seen in Siddharth Anand’s actioner Pathan, Rajkumar Hirani’s much anticipated social comedy, Atlee’s commercial actioner and Raj and DK’s quirky action comedy.
According to the reports SRK wanted a game changer film after his last film Zero failed at the box office. He showed interest in Rakesh Sharma biopic, Salute, however just a few months before taking the film on floors, he backed.
Then he looked at Madhur Bhandarkar’s desi action film titled Inspector Ghalib. While everything was all set SRK was not sure with the film and director.
Sanjay Leela Bhandali also approached the actor for the Sahir Ludhianvi biopic but according to the reports the SRJ felt, it’s “too serious and risky” for him to do a biopic on the poet.
Even Salman Khan reportedly offered him a film Guns of North. But that also didn’t work out.
Ali Abbas Zafar also went to SRK with the remake of Mr. India, however, he didn’t want to do a negative role at this stage of his career.
“If he is being so careful and cautious, imagine the power and quality of the stories that have excited him. There is no doubt that all his four films will set the box-office on fire like never before, and he will be back to fight for the top spot,” the source was quoted as saying.
