Drishyam 3 is one of the most-awaited films in Bollywood. Recently, the makers halted the unveiling of the announcement teaser, which was supposed to be released on October 2. It got postponed due to creative and legal conflicts with the makers of the original Malayalam film directed and written by Jeethu Joseph and starring Mohanlal. Amid this, reports suggested that Paresh Rawal has signed the film. However, the veteran actor has denied the reports in a new interview.
Speaking to a leading publication, Paresh Rawal revealed that he was indeed approached for Ajay Devgn’s starrer Drishyam 3, but he did not sign the film. When asked if he had bagged a role in the thriller, as reports suggested, he replied that there is no truth to these reports at all.
Paresh Rawal Found The Script Impressive
When asked whether he was approached for the film, the Thamma actor confirmed that the makers did approach him. But he did not feel that the role was suitable for him. He said he did not enjoy reading about his part in the script.
Reviewing the script of Drishyam 3, Rawal said that the script is very good and he was really impressed. But even in a compelling script, you need a role that you feel excited about. Otherwise, there is no enjoyment in doing the film.
What To Expect From Drishyam 3
Drishyam 3 Hindi version will see the return of Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar. The plot is set to continue from Drishyam 2 and will focus on Vijay’s family. The film promises a final confrontation between the police and the protagonist. Director Abhishek Pathak, who helmed the blockbuster Drishyam ,2 will return to direct the third installment as well.
