Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday’s Pati Patni Aur Woh has officially completed five years, and the makers are celebrating the success of this much-loved rom-com with a fun video. Released in 2019, the film struck a chord with audiences through its humorous take on relationships, relatable characters, and catchy music.
To mark the occasion, the makers shared a celebratory video on social media.

The clip shows moments from the film and brings back the charm of Chintu Tyagi (Kartik Aaryan) along with his co-stars Bhumi and Ananya.
About The Film
Pati Patni Aur Woh tells the story of Abhinav “Chintu” Kumar Tyagi, a middle-class government engineer from Kanpur, who is happily married to Vedika (Bhumi Pednekar).
Despite their seemingly stable relationship, Chintu feels suffocated by his controlling parents and Vedika’s aspirations to move to a bigger city. His life takes a turn when he meets Tapasya Singh, a young fashion designer from Delhi, and begins an affair with her.
However, Chintu’s lies about his marriage lead to a series of comedic and dramatic events that unravel his life. As the story progresses, Vedika discovers his infidelity, and Chintu works hard to win her back.
This film is a modern reimagining of the 1978 classic of the same name and is filled with humour and heart while tackling themes of love, marriage, and fidelity.
Kartik Aaryan’s portrayal of Chintu was widely appreciated, and the film became a commercial hit, grossing Rs 117.7 crore worldwide. The song “Dheeme Dheeme” featuring Kartik’s infectious dance moves, also became a chart-topper.
Pati Patni Aur Woh Sequel In Works
While Pati Patni Aur Woh continues to enjoy a strong fanbase five years later, there’s also news about the sequel. Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 is currently in the scripting phase, with plans to begin shooting next year.
Sources have revealed that Raveena Tandon has been offered a “sexy role” in the sequel, which is expected to add a new twist to the storyline.
