‘Please Don’t Hit Me!’ Raveena Tandon Faces Assault After Alleged Accusations of Drunk Driving in Bandra; Angry Crowd Says ‘Maaro Isko’

Raveena Tandon has reportedly faced allegations of rash driving in a drunken state. Video of actress being assaulted by women went viral.

Raveena Tandon found herself in a troubling situation over the weekend. The Bollywood actor has been accused of ‘abusing and assaulting’ women in Bandra, Mumbai, during the late hours of Saturday.

A video circulating on social media (now deleted) shows Raveena pleading with an agitated mob to not ‘hit her’ as she tried to defend herself.

Raveena Tandon Faces Assualt In Bandra

In the clip, Raveena, dressed in white, is surrounded by the alleged victims and locals who confronted her. The video captures the chaos as the crowd called the police, with one woman shouting, “My nose is bleeding. She (Raveena) assaulted me.”

Throughout the confrontation, Raveena was seen asking the onlookers to stop recording the incident. She repeatedly pleaded, “Don’t push. Please don’t hit me.” Despite her requests, some in the crowd could be heard shouting, “Maaro isko” (Hit her).

An alleged victim claimed that Raveena emerged from her car in a drunken state, defending her driver and hitting his mother, resulting in serious head injuries for the woman.

However, reports also suggest that the car did not hit anyone, and Raveena has sought legal counsel to address the accusations.

Raveena Tandon’s Work Front

Raveena Tandon was last seen as a lawyer in Patna Shuklla, which also starred the late actor Satish Kaushik and Manav Vij. Patna Shuklla delves into an education scam involving roll numbers, impacting the lives of thousands of sincere students in India.

Speaking about the film, Raveena, who plays the character Tanvi Shukla, said in a statement, “Patna Shuklla aka Tanvi Shuklla’s journey is relatable to Indians. It is a story of a woman leading at the front and managing her household and work life, which certainly resonates with every woman in our country. I’ve poured a part of myself into my character.”

Patna Shuklla has been produced by Arbaaz Khan and directed by Vivek Budakoti. It is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Up next, Raveena will be seen in Ghudchadi and Welcome Back.
