Poonam Pandey’s husband, director, producer, and editor Sam Bombay or Sam Ahmed Bombay, was detained by Mumbai police after the actress accused him of physical assault. Poonam has been brought to a hospital after suffering head, eye, and face injuries, according to sources.
“Actress Poonam Pandey’s husband, Sam Bombay, was arrested yesterday in Mumbai after the actress complained that he assaulted her. Poonam Pandey was admitted to a hospital,” said the Mumbai police.
This is not the first time Poonam Pandey has filed a complaint against Sam Bombay. Poonam filed a complaint against Sam in 2020, alleging that he had assaulted, molestated, and threatened her, and she had decided to divorce him. Then, in Goa, Sam was apprehended.
Poonam told The Times Of India that her relationship has “always been abusive,” and that continuing with someone who has “beaten” her up “like an animal” is not a smart option.

On September 10, Poonam Pandey and Sam Bombay married in a private ceremony in Mumbai. Both of them used Instagram to share photos from their wedding. Poonam and Sam dated for three years before getting married.
