Om Raut directed Adipurush stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and has been reportedly made with a budget of 500 cr. The film is based on the mythological epic Ramayana, showcasing the triumph of good over evil. Earlier scheduled to release on January 12, 2023, makers announced that it will release on June 16, 2023.

The film’s plot centers around Raghava, the king of Ayodhya, who journeyed to the island of Lanka over 7000 years ago with the sole purpose of rescuing his wife Janaki from Lankesh, the king of Lanka. The character of Janaki will be portrayed by Kriti Sanon.
