Superstar Prabhas’ period action thriller film ‘Salaar’ with director Prashanth Neel has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced in 2020. The biggie is being produced by Hombale Films which previously produced mega-blockbusters ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ and ‘Kantara’ last year.
The highly anticipated Pan India biggie is also making noise for the blockbuster rumours around it and one of them going viral ever since is that it would be released in two parts. Now, the latest development confirmed that the movie will indeed be released in two parts.
There is a video going viral on social media in which popular Kannada actor Devaraj is reportedly hinting toward the film’s second part. Devaraj is said to be playing the role of villain and he can be heard saying that his role will be more in the second part than the first part.
The makers have been tight-lipped about the movie’s two-part release. Director Prashanth Neel said previously that if it is in two parts, it will be told at the right time and in the right way, but it seems Devaraj has spoiled their ambitious plans of announcing the second part in a grand fashion.
Apart from being shot on a huge scale, ‘Salaar’ is carrying a massive star cast across different industries. Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead while Jagapathi Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran are also there in prominent roles along with many others. It is also being speculated that Yash aka Rocky Bhai might feature in a cameo role.
‘Salaar’ (First Part) is scheduled to release on September 28, 2023, in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil languages.
