Om Raut directed Adipurush stars Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Kriti Sanon, Sunny Singh and has been reportedly made with a budget of 500 cr. The film is based on the mythological epic Ramayana, showcasing the triumph of good over evil. It is set to be released on January 12, 2023.
Many on social media pulled the film for bad VFX and wrong placement of characters. One said “cartoon-like” VFX after the teaser was released. People who watched it were seemingly upset. Hiring Vfx artist from team ‘Oh My Friend Ganesha (sic),” a social media user wrote. Another said, “700 cr Temple Run (laughing emojis).” Some said Prabhas didn’t work on his fitness and instead used computer generated graphics.
After the Brahmastra release on September 9, moviegoers talked about VFX in the film and discussed Ra.One and SRK’s understanding towards visual effects at that time. The sci-fi/action film was reportedly made for Rs 130 cr.
Now, Netizens have brought back Shah Rukh’s starrer Ra.One released in 2011 after Adipurush’s teaser, where he comprehended innovation and VFX in Indian film industry just before others in the industry realised. Many called SRK a time traveller and his film was actually ahead of time.
