Akshay Kumar is now preparing for the release of Prithviraj, his highly awaited historical-war film. The trailer, directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films, was released earlier and has already garnered a favorable response from the audience. Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar, who plays Princess Sanyogita, makes her Bollywood debut in the film. It is based on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, a Chahamana dynasty king.
The film has been delayed several times, and now Khiladi Kumar has spoken out over the postponement of Prithviraj’s release, saying, “We finished the film in 42 days. Come on time and leave on time, then film completes on time. It was because of pandemic that the film got delayed, otherwise, the film would have released long back.”
Now, consider Aamir Khan’s next film Laal Singh Chaddha, which took nearly three years to complete. Two lyrical tracks from the film have been released, however, the trailer has yet to be released. Fans have been waiting for a long time to receive a preview of this film.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt as Kaka Kanha, Sonu Sood as Chand Bardai, Ashutosh Rana as Jayachandra, and Manav Vij as Muhammad Ghori also appear in Akshay Kumar’s Prithviraj. It was originally intended to be shown in theaters on Diwali 2020, however, it was postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 outbreak in India in March 2020. It will now be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on June 3, 2022.
Meanwhile, Laal Singh Chaddha will be released in theaters on August 11, 2022. It stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh and is inspired by the 1994 American film Forrest Gump, which is based on Winston Groom’s 1986 novel of the same name.
