Producer Of Akhil Akkineni Starrer Agent Addressed The Movie’s Failure By Tweeting An Apology To Audience

Producer Anil Sunkara stated that we must accept full responsibility for Agent’s failure following the movie’s disastrous box office result.

One of the most talked-about films in South Asian cinema this year was Agent, directed by Akhil Akkineni. Despite numerous delays, the movie was unable to draw audiences to the theaters. Despite extensive marketing, the movie failed to draw any audiences at the theaters. Producer Anil Sunkara responded to the movie bombing at the box office and tweeted a sincere apology when Akhil’s mother Amala defended the actor following criticism of the movie.

The plot of Agent, the poor acting, and the movie’s complete lack of significance led to a lot of trolls. The actor had high expectations for the movie but was once again left disappointed when the public didn’t enjoy it. Finally responding to Agent’s poor performance, producer Anil Sunkara tweeted a public request for forgiveness.

He said, “We don’t want to make excuses, but rather learn from this expensive error and consider how we can correct it to ensure that we won’t make the same mistakes again. We sincerely apologize to everyone who relied on us. We will make up for the losses by carefully preparing and working hard on our next initiatives.

Agent got off to a respectable start in India, collecting Rs 5.95 crore. The movie had a steep decrease on Saturday (April 29) as a result of the negative reviews, earning Rs 1.6 crore in India. The movie brought in Rs 1.3 crore net on Sunday, May 1.

This brings the total for the first three days in India to Rs 8.85 crore. As of April 30, Telugu has a 16.42 percent occupancy rate.

On April 28, Akhil Akkineni‘s Agent was released in cinemas.
