Recently Janhvi Kapoor shared the first look from her upcoming film titled Good Luck Jerry.
Backed by Aanand L Rai the project is the Hindi remake of Nayanthara’s Tamil-language film titled Kolamavu Kokila.
The film was being filmed in Punjab, amid the ongoing farmers’ protest. According to the reports this has affected the shoot a few days ago. The reports suggested that few protesting farmers surrounded Janhvi and the crew. They reportedly stalled the shoot till all of them extended their support towards the farmers.
As per the reports the team was shooting at Bassi Pathana in Punjab when a group of farmers arrived and shouted slogans against the crew.
Reportedly the protesters told the crew that the shoot will be permitted only if they wrote in favour of the protesting farmers. Reportedly, the incident took place in front of the police and the farmers left the location when the crew extended support.
A few days ago, Janhvi, on her Instagram, shared a note that read, “Farmers are at the heart of our country. I recognise and value the role that they play in feeding our nation. I hope a resolution is reached soon that benefits the farmers.”

Film is directed by Sidharth Sengupta and written by Pankaj Matta. It also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Meeta Vashishth, Neeraj Sood and Sushant Singh in pivotal roles.
