Allu Arjun recently attended a promotional event for Pushpa 2: The Rule in Mumbai, where excitement for the sequel continues to build. Directed by Sukumar, the film has been in production for three years and is set to make a huge impact when it releases this December.
Allu Arjun Thanks Fans For Making Pushpa Franchise A ‘Global Phenomenon’
At the event, Allu Arjun expressed deep appreciation for the fans, crediting them for turning Pushpa into a global phenomenon. He humbly stated that while he and the team had made the film, it was the fans who made it a massive success. He also pointed out that even after three years since its release, the film still holds a top spot in the industry.
Allu Arjun also spoke about his eagerness to finish filming Pushpa 2, particularly because of the character’s beard. He joked about how his daughter had been avoiding him because of it and couldn’t even kiss him due to his scruffy look.
However, when filming wrapped, he admitted to feeling a sense of sadness. He revealed that he had been the quietest on set, showing his emotional connection to the project.
The actor also danced to “Angaaron” (Hindi version of “Sooseki”) with his co-star Rashmika Mandanna.

What Rashmika Mandanna Said At Mumbai Event
Rashmika Mandanna also shared her thoughts at the event. She recalled how for the past three years, everyone in Mumbai would ask her when Pushpa 2 would be released.
Now, with the release date confirmed for December 5, she expressed how emotional it was for her, saying that five of her seven years in the industry have been spent with Pushpa. She also shared her desire to work with the team again.
While Allu Arjun and Rashmika have been actively promoting the film, the absence of Fahadh Faasil at these events has left fans wondering about his role and why he hasn’t joined the duo for the promotions.

Several songs from Pushpa 2 have already been released, including the lively track Kissik, featuring Allu Arjun and Sreeleela. The song, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, has caught the attention of fans, and another single, Peelings, is expected to drop on December 1, just before the film’s release.
Pushpa 2 is slated to hit cinemas on December 5, 2024. The film promises to deliver even more thrilling action and drama.
