Pushpa 2 The Rule, the much-anticipated sequel to the hit film Pushpa, is set to break records with its release in six languages across India. This announcement came from none other than the renowned music composer Devi Sri Prasad.
Speaking to Mid-Day, Devi Sri Prasad shared insights into the music of Pushpa 2. He revealed that the storyline of the sequel picks up from where the first part left off, ensuring a seamless continuation for fans.
Makers To Release Pushpa 2 In Six Languages – Devi Sri Prasad Took Two Months To Create Songs
Unlike typical franchises where characters may change, Pushpa 2 maintains its core characters, promising an evolution in the music that complements the narrative progression. Devi Sri Prasad emphasized the effort to create a distinct soundtrack that stands out from its predecessor.
“In this instalment, the narrative seamlessly picks up from the conclusion of the first part. It’s not your typical franchise scenario where actors stay but characters change. Here, we’re sticking with the same characters, allowing for musical development that reflects their journey. Still, we’ve aimed for a fresh approach, ensuring this soundtrack stands apart from its predecessor,” he stated.
He further added, “This time, we are making the film in Bengali too, so we have to go through the exercise in six languages now. It took more than two months to create the songs. I had to sit with the lyricists of each language to do that.”
Pushpa 2 Makers Recently Shot a Massive Underwater Sequence
Recent reports suggested that Timir Biswas, a popular singer, might contribute to the Bengali version of Pushpa 2: The Rule, either through voiceover or singing. However, when approached for confirmation, Timir clarified that he had not yet been enlisted for the project.
The makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule has also filmed a spectacular underwater sequence. Miroslaw Brozek, the film’s Polish cinematographer, shared a captivating snapshot from the set on Instagram. Responding to a fan’s inquiry about the scene being filmed, Brozek confirmed it was indeed an underwater sequence.
For the unversed, Pushpa 2: The Rule gears up for its cinematic debut on August 15, 2024.
