PVR INOX Limited, India’s largest and most premium multiplex chain, recently organised a series of special screenings for the film Sitaare Zameen Par. These screenings were held across the country exclusively for personnel of the Indian Air Force (IAF) and their families.
This thoughtful initiative was deeply appreciated by Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh, PVSM, AVSM, who is the Chief of the Air Staff. He praised the gesture for honouring the nation’s Air Warriors by bringing them together for the joy of a shared cinematic experience.

The special screenings were a big success and brought a lot of joy to the IAF personnel. Air Chief Marshal A.P. Singh expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Air Force. He stated, “I extend my heartfelt appreciation to PVR INOX Limited for the thoughtful initiative of organising special screenings of Sitaare Zameen Par for our Air Warriors and their families.”
The Air Chief Marshal also noted that this “gesture of goodwill exemplifies the values of service and nation-building that we all hold dear.” He concluded by saying that the screenings “brought immense joy and pride to our personnel.”

Sitaare Zameen Par is the story of Gulshan Arora (Aamir Khan), a basketball coach who is forced to mentor a group of intellectually disabled people as part of his community service.
