The first song from the much-awaited film Haq has just been released, and it’s a treat for music lovers. Titled Qubool, the track is a soulful melody that dives deep into the themes of love and longing. It beautifully highlights the powerful and emotional on-screen chemistry between the film’s lead actors, Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam.
Presented by Junglee Music, the song is composed by the hitmaker Vishal Mishra, who is known for creating music that touches the heart. With Qubool, he has once again delivered a deeply moving track that forms the emotional core of the film. The beautiful lyrics are penned by Kaushal Kishore and the song is soulfully sung by Armaan Khan.
Emraan Hashmi Calls It the ‘Soul’ Of The Film
Emraan Hashmi, who is famous for having some of the most iconic songs in his filmography, was full of praise for the new track. He shared his feelings, saying, “There’s a certain magic when music becomes the soul of a film, and Qubool does exactly that.”
He also gave credit to the composer, adding, “Vishal has crafted a melody that feels alive with emotion, and it beautifully carries the heart of our story.” The song is a perfect example of love that is expressed through silent glances and deep feelings.
Yami Gautam On Her Character’s ‘Silent Storm’
Yami Gautam, who plays a complex character in the film, explained how the song was special for her. She said, “Qubool is that rare song that lives in the quiet spaces in glances, unsaid words, and aching silences. It mirrors my character’s deepest emotions her vulnerability, strength, and longing.”
She further added that the song captured the true essence of her role. “Performing to it was not just about expressing love, but about embodying a silent storm within,” Yami said.
Vishal Mishra’s Musical Vision
Composer Vishal Mishra explained his inspiration for the music of Haq. He said, “The music of Haq is built on emotion & the power of Indian melodies and raagas. Qubool is an expression of love woven in indianness and modern expression.”
Vishal also shared what he wanted to achieve with the song. “I wanted the song to sound pure, intimate yet cinematic, to echo what the characters feel without saying too much.” The soundtrack promises more emotional hits, including another track titled Dil Tod Gaya Tu.
