Raashii Khanna has officially wrapped Mauja Hi Mauja, and her latest behind the scenes post captures the breezy, playful mood that defined the shoot. Sharing candid moments from the set, the actor offered a cheerful look at her time with Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and the rest of the team as Anees Bazmee’s film completed production.
The post matters because Mauja Hi Mauja now moves into post production, with Raashii’s update marking the end of filming on one of the film’s major schedules. The glimpses also underscore the easy camaraderie among the cast, a quality that often becomes central to ensemble comedies.
Raashii Shares Her Wrap Note
Raashii used her social media post to sum up the experience in her own words. She wrote, “Every film has a story on screen, but sometimes the real fun happens when the cameras aren’t rolling!”
She added, “#maujahimauja was one of those shoots that felt more like a vacation than work. From the unstoppable laughter to the Ludo games, dumb charades, carrom matches and all the madness in between, there was never a dull moment. And clearly, not every memory is meant to be a dignified one!”
Thanking the team at the end of the journey, she signed off with, “The film may be wrapped, but I have a feeling the stories from this set will keep us laughing for a long time!”
Mauja Hi Mauja stars Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan in the lead, with Raashii playing a key role in the ensemble. The film is directed by Anees Bazmee.
What We Know About Mauja Hi Mauja
With shooting now complete, Mauja Hi Mauja has entered post production. The Hindi comedy brings together Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Raashii Khanna, with Bazmee directing the ensemble entertainer.
The film’s strongest talking point at this stage is the cast combination. Akshay and Vidya’s pairing, Raashii’s presence in a prominent role, and Bazmee’s comic sensibility give the project a distinctly mainstream pull as work now shifts from the set to the edit table.
Raashii Khanna’s Recent And Upcoming Work
As Mauja Hi Mauja moves forward, the wrap also places Raashii’s attention on a wider slate that keeps her active across both theatrical and streaming spaces.
Beyond Mauja Hi Mauja, Raashii is also associated with Dharman, which stars Rajinikanth. She is also set to reprise Megha in the second season of Farzi, the crime drama created by Raj and DK that stars Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi.
That mix of large scale films and high profile digital work reflects the space Raashii currently occupies in the industry. With comedy, crime drama and a major star led project all part of her lineup, she continues to build a filmography that cuts across genres and audiences.
