Prabhas unveiled new poster for his forthcoming film Radhe Shyam on Wednesday. The poster depicted a serious-looking Prabhas, and his intense demeanour is a far cry from the mild-mannered, romantic hero portrayed by the promotional posters released previously. Prabhas also revealed that the teaser will give more information about his Vikramaditya persona. It will be launched on October 23, which also happens to be the actor’s birthday. This Saturday, the Baahubali star turns 42.
Since 2018, Radhe Shyam has been in production. Due to a variety of factors, the film was repeatedly delayed. The pandemic-induced lockdowns, on the other hand, prevented the filmmakers from finishing the film on time. The film’s shooting wrapped in July of this year, and it is now in post-production.
The film is reported to take place in Europe in the 1970s. Radha Krishna Kumar wrote and directed the film, which stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, Bhagyashree, Murli Sharma, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Riddhi Kumar, Sasha Chettri, and Sathyan are among the cast members.
To capitalise on the Sankranti holiday, Radhe Shyam will be released on January 14th. Radhe Shyam will be released in Telugu states alongside Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata and Pawan Kalyan’s Bheemla Nayak, making it the biggest ever Telugu film industry battle.
Prabhas’ films Salaar and Adipurush are now in production.
