Doordarshan has started telecasting 90s most popular mythology drama Ramayan once again. This has helped iconic actors like Dipika Chikhlia, Arun Govil and late actor Dara Singh to gain popularity amongst the young generation.
Now according to the reports Dipika has been roped for a new project and it’s for Sarojini Naidu’s biopic. Even though there is no official confirmation has been made. Speaking to a daily the actress shared her excitement for the project.
Dipika who played Sita in Ramayan revealed that the project has been written by Dhiraj Mishra and he’ll be directing the film too.
Since the lockdown any detailed information is yet to come. The actress said she if all goes as planned then only when she hears out the full script.
If all goes as expected then this is the first time someone will be playing Naidu’s life on screen.
