Ramayana Producer Namit Malhotra Says ‘I Will Go To Any Extent For Ramayana And Hindustan’ At Pratham Sankalp In Delhi

Under the glare of Bharat Mandapam’s lights and in front of a packed room charged with anticipation, Namit Malhotra delivered the line that instantly defined Pratham Sankalp in Delhi. As the producer addressed supporters of Ramayana, gratitude gave way to conviction, and his words captured the emotional weight he has attached to one of Indian cinema’s biggest undertakings: “I will go to any extent for Ramayana and Hindustan.”

The evening unfolded as a grand showcase for the film, with the makers turning the Delhi event into a statement of scale ahead of the next promotional step for the mythological epic. That atmosphere made Malhotra’s on-stage remarks feel less like a routine address and more like the emotional centerpiece of a campaign now moving into full public view.

Namit Malhotra’S Emotional Statement At Pratham Sankalp

The makers also shared a video from the event in which Malhotra expressed gratitude to everyone who has supported the project. The line that has drawn the strongest reaction is his declaration, “I will go to any extent for Ramayana and Hindustan.”

In the accompanying social media post, the caption was shared verbatim as, “एक ऐतिहासिक फिल्म, Namit malhotra’s”. Presented in that original form, the caption framed the post as a celebratory marker for a film the team is positioning as historic in both ambition and cultural reach.

The Delhi showcase added another layer to the film’s rollout, with the room’s charged energy, fan enthusiasm, and event-sized presentation reinforcing just how aggressively the makers are pushing Ramayana into the spotlight. Rather than a low-key media beat, Pratham Sankalp played like a full-scale curtain-raiser for a project that wants to announce itself as a landmark big-screen event.

A Two-Part Epic With Star Power And Global Ambition

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana, with Sunny Deol playing Hanuman and Ravi Dubey cast as Lakshman. The film is produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in association with DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, bringing together a production setup built for visual scale and international reach.

The project has been conceived as a two-part cinematic epic and is slated for a worldwide IMAX release. As of July 20, 2026, Ramayana: Part 1 is scheduled for Diwali 2026, while Ramayana: Part 2 is scheduled for Diwali 2027. The makers have positioned the film as a sweeping screen adaptation of the Ramayana, blending mythological grandeur with immersive storytelling and high-end visual design.

What Malhotra’s statement ultimately did in Delhi was sharpen the identity of the film’s next promotional phase. It signaled that the campaign around Ramayana will not rely on scale alone, but also on a deeply personal pitch from its producer as the countdown begins toward the trailer launch and the film’s first chapter later this year.
