Ramayana New Posters Unveiled: Ranbir Kapoor As Ram And Yash As Ravana Fuel Excitement For The Diwali Release

The countdown to Ramayana has gathered fresh momentum, with the makers unveiling new posters that place Ranbir Kapoor’s Ram and Yash’s Ravana at the heart of the film’s visual campaign. More than a routine promotional drop, the artwork is designed to deepen the mythological mood around the project while giving audiences a stronger sense of the contrasting energies that the two central figures will bring to the big screen.

The posters arrive with the already announced November 5, 2026 release date, placing Ramayana in the Diwali corridor. They prominently carry the line, “Yeh Ram Ke Yug Ka Aarambh Hai,” and also reiterate the film’s scale, with a multilingual theatrical rollout planned across Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The fresh campaign material continues to frame the film as a premium large-format experience built for cinemas.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Ram And Yash’s Ravana Shape The New Visual Pitch

One of the newly unveiled posters shows Ranbir Kapoor as Ram in an action-ready avatar, aiming an arrow with his bow in a commanding battle stance. The visual leans into discipline, purpose and heroic intensity, presenting his character with a sense of resolve that fits the film’s epic register. The imagery appears designed to highlight Ram not just as a divine figure, but as a warrior prepared for confrontation.

Yash’s Ravana is presented in a strikingly darker frame. In his poster, he is seen sitting atop a pile of dead bodies, an image that reinforces the character’s authority, menace and violent power. The visual gives Ravana an intimidating edge and underscores the destructive force associated with his rule. Together, the two posters establish a sharp visual contrast between Ram’s righteous combat energy and Ravana’s brutal dominance.

The Posters Also Stress The Film’s Scale

Beyond the character imagery, the posters underline the size of the production by highlighting its 3D release, premium format rollout and IMAX presentation. Nitesh Tiwari is directing the film, while Namit Malhotra is producing it under Prime Focus Studios and Monster Mind Creations. The credits on the posters also mention DNEG for visual effects, Sony Pictures for international distribution, T-Series for music, and Dharma Productions for North India theatrical release.

Sai Pallavi is also part of the principal cast as Sita, making Ramayana one of the most closely watched Hindi film projects currently in production. The film is planned as a two-part adaptation, with the first installment scheduled for November 5, 2026, and the second set to follow in 2027.

Ranbir Kapoor’s Recent And Upcoming Work

Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Animal in 2023, after appearing in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar in 2023 and Brahmastra Part One: Shiva in 2022. That phase marked a strong commercial run for the actor, especially with Animal emerging as a major box office success. Looking ahead, Ramayana is among his biggest confirmed theatrical titles, with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War also on his upcoming slate, currently dated for January 21, 2027.
