The first full trailer of Ramayana has arrived with the kind of visual ambition Hindi cinema rarely attempts, and the film’s biggest reveal is not just scale, but conflict. Released on July 30, the four minute, nine second trailer opens with Ravana rising from the shadows before shifting to Ayodhya, exile, and the march toward war. The release strategy underlines the confidence behind the project too, with Ramayana: Part One set for a Diwali 2026 theatrical bow and the second chapter scheduled for 2027.
The ensemble around the central trio only adds to the sense of occasion. Sunny Deol features as Lord Hanuman, while Lara Dutta, Rakul Preet Singh, Kajal Aggarwal, Arun Govil, Vivek Oberoi, Kunal Kapoor, Adinath Kothare, and Anupam Kher fill out a cast designed to make the film feel like a true screen event rather than a standard star vehicle.
