
One of the most anticipated films of Rana Daggubati’s “Haathi Mere Saathi” will hit the big screens on April 2.
The makers of an adventure drama have unveiled a new poster in which Rana can be seen standing in front of an elephant.
The film will explore the relationship between a mahout and his elephant. The trilingual will hit the screens as “Kaadan” in Tamil and “Aranya” in Telugu.
While Rana is the protagonist in all the versions. While Pulkit Samrat plays Rana’s parallel lead in the Hindi title. Southern actor Vishnu Vishal will essay the role in “Kaadan” and “Aranya”. However, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain will be the female lead in all three versions.
A daily quoted director Prabu Solomonas saying: “I am very excited about the project. The objective of bringing out a narrative of this scale in three different languages is to reach out to audiences in various parts of India. It is a subject that needs everyone’s attention and should be talked about. I hope we make a difference with the three titles.”
The story of the film is based on the unfortunate event of humans encroaching upon the elephant corridor in Kaziranga, Assam. Rana dedicates most of his life living in the jungle, with the sole purpose of protecting wild animals.
The film is produced by Eros International, while the VFX has been done by Prana Studios, who have worked on Hollywood biggies such as “Life Of Pi”, “Thor” and the Bollywood film, “Detective Bymokesh Bakshi”.
