The trailer for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhat’s next film ‘Brahmastra’ was unveiled few days ago. From the moment it was revealed four years ago, this Ayan Mukerji-directed film has been generating headlines. Apart from Ranbir and Alia, the film will also star Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Southern veteran Nagarjuna with some interesting cameos.

Now, the recent update from the film is that the newlywed couple Ranbir Kapoor and his wife Alia Bhatt have jumped on board as co-producers on Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra as a forerunner to this happening. A source was quoted as saying, “It was Brahmastra producer Karan Johar who suggested that Ranbir and Ali come on board as producers.”
Actors frequently become producers in order to secure roles that are not available from other sources. With Alia and Ranbir, however, this doesn’t seem to be the case. For the uninitiated, Prime Focus, which is a VFX Company is also co-producing the film. We wonder if the huge budget of the film forced stakeholders and actors to become producers for this film.
Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, has finally released its trailer, making it one of the most awaited films of 2022. The film, directed by Ayan Mukerji, is due to hit theaters on September 9th. Brahmastra is a new original universe inspired by deeply rooted concepts and tales from Indian history but set in the modern world, with epic storytelling of fantasy, adventure, good vs evil, love and hope; all told using cutting-edge technology and never-seen-before visual spectacles. Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy play significant parts in Brahmastra.
