Ranbir Kapoor has finally shared an exciting update on Brahmastra Part Two – Dev. The much-awaited sequel will go into pre-production once director Ayan Mukerji wraps up War 2. Fans have been waiting for news since the first film Brahmastra Part One – Shiva became a huge success at the box office in 2022.
Ranbir Kapoor Shares Update On Brahmastra 2, Talks About Reuniting With SLB For Love And War
At Alia Bhatt’s birthday celebration, Ranbir held a press meet where they spoke to the media and revealed that Ayan has been working on the entire Brahmastra story for years. Right now, he is focused on War 2, but once that film is done, work on Brahmastra 2 will officially begin. Ranbir assured me that the film is happening, and there will be some exciting announcements soon.
Ranbir is also busy with Love And War, where he will share the screen with Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The film is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and marks Ranbir’s reunion with the filmmaker after his debut film Saawariya.
Talking about working with Bhansali again, Ranbir said it is a blessing. He believes Bhansali is one of the hardest-working directors, deeply connected to characters, emotions, music, and Indian culture. The process of working with him can be long and exhausting, but it is an enriching experience as an artist.
Alia Bhatt Set For Cannes 2025 Debut
Alia Bhatt is also gearing up for a major milestone in her career with her debut at the Cannes Film Festival in 2025. She confirmed the news at the press meet while celebrating her 32nd birthday with the media. This will be another big step in her international journey after her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone.

Ranbir has a packed schedule with films like Love And War, Brahmastra 2, Ramayana, Animal Park, and Dhoom 4. On the other hand, Alia will be seen next in Alpha, which is set for a Christmas 2025 release.
