When PK was released, it made a huge remark at the box office. The surprise was Ranbir Kapoor’s cameo at the end of this Aamir Khan starrer.
Now the recent reports states that Ranbir might take the story forward in the upcoming sequel of the hit movie.
PK, which was directed by Rajkumar Hirani starred Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. We also saw late Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani and Sanjay Dutt in key roles in the film.
Now, if Ranbir comes in board for the sequel, it will be actor’s second movie with Hirani after Sanju.
Vidhu Vinod Chopra has hinted that Ranbir’s character may take the story forward, reported Mid-Day.
He said, “We will make the sequel. We had shown Ranbir towards the end of the film, so there is a story to tell. But Abhijat (Joshi) has not written it yet. The day he writes it, we will make it.”
“We are not in the business of making money, we are in the business of making cinema. If making money (was our goal), by now, we would have made six to seven (instalments of) Munna Bhai, and two to three (editions of) PK. We seek joy, happiness and peace over a few crores,” he added.
