The much-anticipated film Love And War is finally set to begin production, bringing together Bollywood powerhouses Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal under the masterful direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
This epic love triangle, set against a war backdrop, has been a hot topic in the industry, with Ranbir Kapoor taking on a role with negative shades. The film has been making waves in the media for months, marking one of Bhansali’s biggest casting achievements.
Ranbir Kapoor & Vicky Kaushal Set To Shoot Love And War In October 1st Week
According to Pinvilla, Love And War is scheduled to go on floors in the first week of October, with Ranbir Kapoor starting the shoot. As per the sources close to the project, Vicky Kaushal will join the set around October 10.
The initial scenes will focus on Ranbir’s character before moving on to the sequences highlighting the friendship between Ranbir and Vicky’s characters. Bhansali has meticulously planned the shooting schedule, ensuring it aligns with the availability of his star cast.
Alia Bhatt To Join Them In December
Alia Bhatt, who has been busy with her commitments to YRF’s Alpha, will join the shoot in December or early January, once she wraps up her current project. The source also revealed that the filming will be divided based on the dynamics between the characters.
The schedule will feature Ranbir in action scenes, followed by sequences focusing on his friendship with Vicky, romantic moments between Vicky and Alia, and the drama-filled interactions between Ranbir and Alia.
The climax will see all three actors sharing the screen in intense conflict scenes. Alia and Vicky have committed over 200 days to Bhansali’s vision, ensuring that they won’t be working on any other projects until Love and War is completed. The goal is to finish shooting by the third quarter of 2025.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali Will Produce The Film Himself
In an unexpected twist, contrary to earlier reports, Jio Studios will not be partnering with Bhansali on this project. Instead, Bhansali will produce the film himself and is in talks to secure one of the biggest non-theatrical deals for satellite, digital, and music rights.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor is currently working on Ramayana: Part One, and Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for the release of Chhava in December. With such an impressive lineup and the expertise of Bhansali at the helm, Love And War is poised to be one of the most significant films in recent times.
